Long Beach Dance Conditioning (LBDC) is a place where teaching is an art and your body transforms.

Ms. Head became a devotee and completed her Pilates Diploma in 1996 with Marie-Jose Blom and she has been a faculty member of Long Beach Dance Conditioning ever since. While working at LBDC, Ms. Head was exposed to the beautiful freedom of movement integral to the Gyrotonic® system and began her studies of this work. She became a certified Gyrotonic® instructor in 2000, a Gyrokinesis® instructor in 2001 and completed the Gyrokinesis® Master Trainer program in 2004. She has also taken the advanced level course in both Gyrotonic® and Gyrokinesis® with Juliu Horvath and has completed certificates on most of the Specialized Equipment. In addition to her work as a Master Trainer, Ms. Head is also a senior faculty member of the Lauridsen Ballet Centre in Torrance, California where she continues to enjoy using both Pilates and Gyrokinesis® to help her students reach higher levels of athleticism and artistry. |
